Moving on to a new chapter for N-house, we ushered in a new academic year with a welcome party. We had one of the biggest sign ups in history, and were graced with the presence of NUS Enterprise senior management, CEO Dr Lily Chan and director Prof Teo.
We started the evening with buffet styled dinner, and then gathered inside LaunchPad for a opening briefing by Prof Teo to set the semester ahead right. Once done with the admin issues and necessities, it was time for ice-breakers, and mingling around to make new friends.
Onto the games! We had a few team bonding games, where prizes were to be won. From food supplies for a whole level to action cameras, we fought it out in teams to gain recognition and supplies.
We ended the night with sharing of ideas from some of our NOC returnees. There were a wide range of new and promising ideas, from payment rewards, to management tools, these budding entrepreneurs shared their ideas with fellow friends, to seek out feedback and interest in their ventures.
It was a great welcome party to start off the semester, with the high level of energy and positivity throughout the evening. More to come!
