For this week’s Wicked Wednesday, we have invited investors and entrepreneurs to share with residents their funding experience and what aspiring entrepreneurs should look out for when raising funds for their ideas.

The panelists are Tiang Lim Foo, Operating Partner of Jungle Ventures, Nikhil Kapur Senior Investment Manager of Gree Ventures & Goh Jian Kai, Founder of Rate X. While Tiang Lim Foo and Nikhil Kapur are serial investors, Goh Jian Kai had recently closed a round of funding for his start-up. Together, the panelists represent the perspective of both investors and entrepreneurs.

During the sharing session, residents asked questions with regards to raising funds for their start-up ideas. Questions such as when to raise, how much to raise, and what aspects are investors looking for are popular questions. To that, the panelist answer honestly and earnestly, giving residents much tips along the way.
