N-house Open House is a semi-annual event where NOC showcase companies started by NOC alumni. This is an amazing platform for student to find out more about the prospect of joining NOC programme. In addition, it is also a good opportunity for NOC start-ups to promote itself to potential consumers and employees
This year, over 15 companies started by NOC alumni participated in the open house. Besides prominent start-ups like Carousell and 99.co, fresh new start-ups by current N-house residents, such as Spence and Chip’d also showcased their solutions.
The official event kicked off at VentureLab balcony with a pitching session. In one minute, each start-up share its company and its features. Some also shared their intention to hire.
After the sharing session, zealous participants checked out the start-ups in the the various booths. Questions ranging from starting a company, staying competitive among incumbents, and even internship opportunities were tossed around the room.
It was heart-warming to see the successes and achievement by NOC alumni. This is testament to NOC’s impact to Singapore Start-up Scene.
